Jubilee Year of Hope

Over the last year the Church has been celebrating a special Jubilee Year of Hope. We were asked to make pledges to be people of hope in the world and at Mass this morning every form was represented as we brought the Jubilee Year to an end. We are now tasked with continuing to bring hope to others, and to the world as we continue to be people of hope. Pupils were given an anchor, one of the earliest symbols of faith and hope. Fr Paul reminded us that anchors keep us stable and bring security: the anchor of faith shows us that God keeps us grounded and steady, and he holds us tightly to stop us from going adrift.
