Christ the King Sixth Form students are celebrating their A Level results in these unprecedented times. Results were given out in a carefully socially distanced manner with Senior Staff and Careers Advisors on hand to offer support. An overwhelming number of students met the conditions for their offers from universities and apprenticeship, and will be studying a range of courses around the country. Notable achievements include Callum, who will be reading Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Oxford, Ben who will be studying Mathematics at the University of Durham, Lauren who will be studying History and Politics at the University of Nottingham, Olivia who will be studying Medicine at the University of Southampton and Sam who will be studying Politics with International Relations at the University of York.

There was an overall improvement in grades, especially higher grades. This is testament to the hard work of students and staff who have worked tirelessly in difficult times. A*- B grades has risen to 40.6% and A*- C is an impressive 68.4%. 100% of BTEC Level 3 students achieved Distinction* to Merit in their qualifications. The average grades achieved by students this year have risen from a grade C to a C+ and average points have also risen from 28.5 to 31.8 overall. We are very proud of all our students and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
