A group of Year 9 History pupils was offered the opportunity to apply for a place on the First World War Centenary Battlefield Tours Programme led by the UCL Institute of Education. In pairs, they each created a presentation explaining why we should remember the First World War, what they could bring to the trip, and what they will do to help us as a school to commemorate the war, especially around the time of Remembrance Day.

The four chosen pupils gave their presentations to Mrs. Wheeler this week and are looking forward to the tour taking place next year. We are very proud of the dedication and commitment showed by the group of pupils to their subject, but also to their willingness to take part and be great role models for our school.
