Mrs Erin Wheeler
At Christ the King we are a school community underpinned by Gospel values and principles. It is our core purpose to prepare our young people for the exciting challenges and opportunities ahead. Our curriculum inspires a lifelong passion for learning and equips our pupils with confidence, skills and attitude to lead successful and fulfilling lives.
We challenge and inspire all pupils to be the best version of themselves. Our ethos is built around a culture of enjoyment and achievement. We believe that when joining our team as a pupil, parent/carer, staff member or a member of the local community, by embracing our values of high aspiration, transformation experience and excellent achievement, we will deliver outstanding educational outcomes for all.
Christ the King has achieved excellent GCSE results, which is testament to the hard work and commitment of all staff here at our school. We are above national figures for English and Mathematics and our Year 11 pupils achieved 49 Grade 9s overall, with a quarter of grades achieved at Grade 7+.

The Pupil Leadership Team
Our Pupil Leadership Team
Christ the King have appointed one Head Girl and one Head Boy after going through a rigorous application process. Students were asked to submit their letter of application from which a shortlist was created. Interviews then took place where each candidate were afforded the opportunity to speak to us in person as to why they should be considered for the role. This process proved to be enriching for the staff conducting the interviews such was the strength of each applicant. In addition to Head Girl and Head Boy, Christ the King have also appointed two Deputy Head Girls due to the outstanding responses given during interview, along with the appointment of a Deputy Head Boy. The Pupil Leadership Team will now be joined by other Year 11 students to ensure that student voice is represented in key decisions and developments at Christ the King.
The Pupil Leadership Team will demonstrate maturity, clear judgement and responsibility in their endeavour to represent Christ the King and the CTK Way. As Student Council Lead, I wish to welcome them to the fold and look forward to collaborating with them as they carry out their duties.
