On November 7th we held our annual Sixth Form Open Evening. Upon being greeted by our Sixth Form student leadership team and SLT, all parents and students were invited to a presentation that started with a video showcasing our wonderful students, what we offer and past successes. pic.twitter.com/MWCqSn1l1K

Following an informative presentation by the Headteacher and Director of Sixth Form, parents and future students toured the school and met with all A-Level and BTEC teachers from our Sixth Form community.
A selection of our Year 12 students acted as tour guides and were praised by many parents in the evening.
We had a fantastic response from our school community and welcomed students from other schools in the local area too.
There was a real buzz in the school and many parents and students commented that teachers really knew their subject and highlighted why should choose Christ the King!
We also had a variety of Universities on offer providing additional information for post-18 provision which was really welcomed by parents and students. A lot of our current Year 12 seized the opportunity to speak with them as well.
We would like to thank all the visitors who came along on the evening, braved the weather and shown an interest in our sixth form community. We hope everyone chooses Christ the King as their Sixth Form placement in the future because we believe in everything we do and know all students can achieve their potential with us.
