We use EDUQAS.
What is the difference between Combined Science and Separate Science?
Combined Science candidates are awarded two Science GCSEs whereas Separate Science candidates are awarded 3 Science GCSEs. Both course cover Biology, Chemistry and Physics. However, the Combined Science course only covers about two-thirds of the content of the Separate Science course.
Would taking Combined Science prevent you from doing Science A-Levels?
No. Both courses adequately prepare students for the A-Level Sciences.
